MP3 Monday: Us

Us
  • Us

I've run out of clever things to say to introduce MP3 Monday. So let's get to the music, man.

There are some bands that can't be slotted into a genre or even a few. Us is one of those bands. In a case such like this, the best way to describe the band is intense. The two-piece has one of the best sets of a local band I have ever seen. Drummer Zach Bukowski is a machine on drums, playing at a pace where tom heads are broken and drum sticks snapped, while guitarist Brendan Ellis plays complex tapping patterns when he's not straight up shredding. The boys have two show in town this week, one tonight and one on Wednesday. With Us, seeing is believing (cliche or not, it's true).

Check out their song "User Tackle" off their album Music Played At the Appropriate Level.
