Just a quickie to let you know about two things of interest going on in town tonight:

1. At Garfield Artworks, Sound Without, the ambient project of Buffalo-based percussionist Liz Holland. It's heavy stuff, intellectually if not always sonically; here's an example:

That show is at 8 p.m.; Brother Ong and Dean Cercone open.

2. Tonight at the Underground at CMU, Kishi Bashi, the lush solo project of K Ishibashi (of Jupiter One, and sometimes of Montreal), appears. Here's a video from his NPR Tiny Desk Concert:
