Comic Steve Byrne at the Byham

The 1992 Hampton High grad and sitcom comedy star gets what’s likely his biggest homecoming yet when the Sullivan & Son Comedy Tour comes Downtown tonight.

The TBS show, which began its second season in June, is about a Pittsburgh guy (Byrne) who leaves the law to return to Pittsburgh and run his family’s South Side neighborhood bar.

Last year, the same tour of four headlining comics from the show — Byrne, Owen Benjamin, Roy Wood Jr. and Ahmed Ahmed — came to the Pittsburgh Improv. Musta done well to move to the rather larger Byham. But everyone likes that half-Irish-half-Korean-local-boy-made-good story.

The show’s at 8 p.m. tonight. Tickets are $30.50.
