Do you like bicycling in Pittsburgh? Do you want to learn more about it, the gear and riding opportunities? Then check out the Pittsburgh Cycling Expo.
The expo will be held Sun., April 7, at the IBEW Circuit Center, 5 Hot Metal St., South Side. All proceeds benefit the Montour Trail.
Per the event's website, the event is for " bicycle enthusiasts, recreational bicyclists and anyone who has an interest in bicycling." Vendors and local bike shops will be on display, and there will be events like trail updates, a session on the incoming bike share program and organized rides. There will also be a fashion show.
A complete schedule can be found on the expo's website; an organized trail ride near the event site begins at 9 a.m. (contact ride leader Kevin Craig for more information at 412-708-4918). The expo opens at 10 a.m. with a $5 donation.
