The Alaska-watch continues, as Pittsburgh's own drag queen stays alive another week on RuPaul's Drag Race.
This episode showed off Alaska's comic chops, and her affection for trash culture was surely one reason her team nailed the "kiddie pageant doll" challenge. (The doll's signature line: "You're not my real daddy, and you won't ever be!")
The main challenge — a mock-up of a kids' TV show — had the judges tut-tutting when Alaska turned up in boy drag. But she was at least FUNNY, whereas some of the other queens were painfully not so.
Alaska got a scolding, but remained in the pink.
I left Pittsburgh in 2008 but kept reading DK. I'm in.
