Pssst … wanna see a puppet show Downtown? Either after work today or sometime next week?
The creative folks at the Society for Miniature Curiosa have you covered.
The two-member art troupe is occupying the commercial space at 131 Seventh Street as part of the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership’s Project Pop-Up.
Anyone who saw Miniature Curiosa’s Luna Park Project, at the Brew House this past summer, knows the group puts on a lively show. So showing up on Seventh Street for a three-minute puppet show is probably worth your time.
There’s also something in their press release about “Zach needs his $850 security deposit back.” So you might be helping out a starving artist, too.
The free puppet show is on call tonight until 9 p.m. It’s back from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday; 11 a.m.- 6 p.m. next Wednesday; and 6-9 p.m. Fri., Oct. 19.
